Sonny’s is bussing!! Try the doubles and be sure to get extra pepper and tamarind sauce!!! Love the food and flavors. The staff are well… West Indian so they are very to the point, no small talk! The shop stays busy so maybe they’re just to busy trying to accommodate everyone to speak. Great food!!
Its 915pm and all my local spots closed ..needed to do a double run for my kid.. found sonny's on google and they open til 10am...omg! What a amazing find.. drove from bayside to liberty ..Delicious doubles ..my kid loved the shrimp doubles and I just had the most amazing tripe double..flavor on point..friendly staff and very clean ! Next time I'm going to get the rice dishes and fried rice.. 😋
The food was no good. I ordered chicken fried rice,curry chicken and two currence roll. The fry rice WHITE not brown or yellow and the currency roll bearly any currency in it and was burnt. Please ladies that work there you all have to leave certain things alone or find people who can cook it the correct way. Overall I will not be contributing to your establishment anymore.
