Really enjoyed my visit to Sushi Nikko. For $68, the 14-course omakase is a great value in NYC. The quality of the fish was solid throughout, and a few pieces really stood out—especially the botan ebi with uni and the otoro with caviar. Simple presentation, but every bite was satisfying. Service was friendly and the pacing felt just right. It’s tucked inside Jacx & Co Food Hall & Bar, which has a cool, modern vibe. Also worth mentioning—their takeout options are surprisingly good and convenient
Took us a while to find the place, it’s on the second floor of the food court. We made a reservation but we were the only ones at the restaurant. You have to buy alcoholic drinks at the bar downstairs and they have a decent selection of draft beers. Food was good quality but tiny pieces for our taste so we added a roll combo to our 16 piece omakase and polished with some mochi ice cream cups from downstairs shop. Overall it was a very nice evening!
We did the 14-course meal and every dish was packed with flavor. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell they’re legitimately sourced from Japan and other known countries. Nicole took great care of us throughout the night, and the chef absolutely delivered with each course — I just wish I remembered to ask for his name. We’ll definitely be back and next time we’re bringing friends!
