Love this chinese fast food spot! I order out from here at least 3x/month. Typically, my husband gets the boneless spare ribs white rice combo with wonton soup. I get the shrimp with broccoli, white rice or pork fried rice combo with egg roll. Never disappoints. The soup broth is definitely elevated, better than the typical Chinese food spot. Interior needs a major update.
The Chinese restaurant is located in the Dyker Park section of Brooklyn. I ordered scallops with brown rice. It was typical and had average taste. The shrimp and lobster sauce was disappointing. The shrimp were good but the sauce was salty. The sauce had no meat, vegetables or scallions. Very plain with little taste. The chicken with black bean sauce consisted of very little sauce with mostly green peppers and onions. The dumpling noodle soup was a good portion but the soup was very salt
Honestly we jut stepped in here at first to buy something small so my daughter could use the restroom. But when we opened the door and smelled how good the food was, we ordered a ton and loved every plate we ordered! What an amazing surprise for us! The service was great and the food was cooked fresh and delivered to our table in minutes. Cannot wait to eat here again on our next trip back to NYC. Thank you Szechuan Delight for the great food and the clean restroom!
