Interesting that 108th Street offers myriad kosher and halal eateries; just walking here makes me feel holier than thou. I stop at Taco Kings, whose prices seem untouched by inflation since I left the neighborhood a few years ago. This is the best go to for healthy, delicious food, family owned business! I go here a couple of days a week. Their steak quesadilla is amazing and their black bean tacos for $2.25 is fantastic and delicious. I highly recommend Taco King!
Still a great place to get tex-mex food. They take credit cards now and are on food delivery apps but I suggest calling and ordering delivery directly from them. They use skirt steak for their steak dishes. The Tortillas are fresh also. I love their salsa/sauce (the not spicy one). Food takes a bit to make, def not a bad thing. I suggest calling and ordering in advance. Very limited seating. Very busy place. People are always calling in or picking up an order.
