The interior design makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to somewhere in Mexico. The shop is always clean and the staff are incredibly friendly. I’ve eaten here multiple times, and the tacos never disappoint—they are always so fresh and absolutely delicious.

Spent 20 years in Mexico so I know what a real taco tastes like, and most spots in NYC don’t come close, Taco Mix for real does. The al pastor and fish tacos were both authentic and flavorful, this is the closest thing to the real deal I’ve found in the city, especially the interior feels legit. I'm glad they have many locations haha
