Yes bad reviews are true, unfortunately. They sending away uber smaller and low quality of food, knowing it’s almost impossible to get refund or replacement. With raw fish is mostly crucial, high risks of poisoning.
Ordered through ubereat, noticed that the options look different with regards to delivery - This apparently means that they use UberEats, but they use their own delivery driver, so you dont get a definite time for delivery, you get a 20 minute time frame. We were supposed to get our food between 235-255, some guy was coming up the stairs with what looked to be a bag of food around 310, then he suddenly disappeared. No food, no response, you cant call the restaurant, no one answers. DONT WASTE
A hidden gem in Ridgewood! The restaurant is not fancy but the service is excellent and the food is delicious. The prices are decent and all the workers do their best to bring joy to our tables. I love Tendo Sushi- recently moved to the area and we gave it a try. Now, we dinner at tendo once a week. The Snow Mountain Roll is my favorite, the fried shumai, the yellowtail with jalapenos and the spicy mayo! Delicious! Thank you Tendo for serving our community!
