I’ve been grabbing a bagel from here about once a week for the last couple years. They’re consistently some of the best bagels I’ve had in Brooklyn. Lots of variety in terms of bagels, cream cheeses, and made to order sandwiches from the kitchen. The guys behind the counter have always been friendly and nice. It’s been a lot of the same people over the years too, which to me is a good sign of management/ownership with staff retention. Definitely a great spot to grab a quick bite!
This is usually our favorite bagel spot in the neighborhood because of the freshness and consistency, which is why this experience was surprising and disappointing. When we order online, the bagels are normally prepared and packaged the same way they’re served in store. This time, however, the bagel was wrapped separately in foil with the cream cheese on the side, which wasn’t what we expected, especially when ordering for convenience. If I had time to assemble it myself, I wouldn’t have order
I’ve been going to bad bagels for about a year now and I can confidently say it’s been extremely delicious and consistent. I always get a scallion cream cheese everything bagel. It’s perfectly toasted and always ready within a minute or two. I’ve also noticed that all the staff are so kind! They always make my day. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a bagel in Bushwick!
