I had a very disappointing experience at The Local @ JFK. The service was extremely inattentive — staff showed no interest in helping customers and even ignored me when I was trying to pay. I had to wait and repeatedly try to get their attention, which was frustrating, especially in an airport where people are often on a tight schedule. The place itself looked fine, but the lack of basic customer service really affected the overall experience. I hope management takes this seriously and improves
Food is gonna be overpriced. Not the worst place to hang out before a flight. The turkey burger was good.
25 dollars for a tiny pizza that was in my opinion worse than super market frozen pizza quality. Service was slow despite few customers. Unfortunately there are few restaurant options in JFK terminal 1. Eat before you get here.
