After enjoying a nice afternoon walk with my sister, I stopped in one of my favorite spots to get a Tiramisu latte. The young lady at the register seemed to have be having a bad day. I ordered my latte and gave her a $20 bill she snatched it from my hand. I ignored it and then after placing my order, when she gave me back my change I said “thank you” and she said nothing. I asked her if everything was okay because she did not respond with a “thank you” towards me. I then waited for her co-worker
I ordered two slices of cake. Whoever packed my order at the store took the cakes and shove it in a small box meant for one slice of cake! And they knew! Not to mention, the strawberries were rotten! Hidden by layers of cream... how disgusting. Your location is nasty and so are the workers there apparently.
Tous Les Jours in Kew Gardens is one of my favorite café escapes when I need something beautiful and peaceful. Their strawberry cream cake is chef’s kiss—light, dreamy, and not overly sweet. The pastries were perfectly crisp, and the coffee hit the spot perfectly complimentary. Bonus: it’s a gorgeous space for catching up with a friend or people-watching solo.
