The facility is truly an iconic piece of architecture. Spotless and timeless. The staff attentive. The never ending JFK construction makes a significant number of the expensive rooms truly awful from the perspective of scenery and noise. SO ASK FOR A ROOM AWAY FROM THE construction demolition. The rooms need some updates. No in room coffee. The Paris cafe was ok, food court Also. Not enough restrooms but the facility is a true Time Machine and the constellation (CONNIE LOUNGE) good . I’m going to not repeat in detail too many things mentioned by other reviewers- yes, great in photos, rooftop awesome, location can be ideal for certain travel itineraries, museum-like vibes with its retro commitment 👍 HOWEVER, there are some very basic expectations that are not met.
