This place is really nice inside. Really nice vibe, there’s an upstairs with an outdoor patio that’s a vibe in and of itself. The aesthetic of this place is just really chill. I’d say this place is perfect for parties and I can totally see myself coming back here. Didn’t seem like food was a thing here but they’re okay with you bringing food in from outside. I first showed my photo ID in the phone. He said $20 or physical ID. So I went back home and got my ID. The bouncer still denied my entry. No wonder I haven’t visited the place over the 6 years living in the neighborhood. If you want to play pool, you could go to Ray’s or the Palace. If you want decent food and music, Eavesdrop is on the next block. If you want to be treated rudely and surrounded by some fake plants, you found your place:)
I recently had one of the most memorable nights out I have experienced in a long time at this spot and it has completely convinced me to return to Greenpoint for more evenings out very soon. If you are planning a visit to this bar the most important logistical detail to keep in mind is that they are strictly a cash only bar. While there is an ATM available inside I would highly recommend bringing cash with you to avoid any extra fees or wait times at the machine. The atmosphere here is truly exc
