It was our first time trying Umiya AYCE after reading all the reviews about it. We came here for lunch on a weekend. We went for their premium AYCE where you can order from their premium and classic menu so you get lots of options to select. We personally loved their cheese baked lobster, Albacore Tuna and sashimi selections and A5 wagyu nigiri. One minor downside is they didn’t have any Umi sushi when we came which was a bit disappointing because we heard great things about it here. Nevertheles
With all the AYCE Korean BBQ and Hot Pot across the city. Umiya Sushi offers one of the best spots for AYCE. This is our 3rd time coming for here and have not been disappointed with the fresh sushi and hot dishes. We love the hot dishes are made to order, comes out hot and fried dishes comes out nice a crispy. Portion sizes are small but can you order as many times as you would like. The servers are attentive and check if you want to order more. Highly recommend this place.
First time here but great experience with the classic menu! The rolls didn't have too much rice and were delicious. Also had some fried options (oyster, shrimp tempura, eggplant tempura, soy garlic chicken wing) and they weren't too bready/oily. Black pepper tuna was also good. The sashimi is cut is short and thick which was a little strange, but still enjoyable. We'll definitely return to try their premium menu!
