This is a really solid little bar with a decent beer selection, bourbon, and decent cocktails. It’s definitely better as an evening spot - the daytime bartender did not know what either a Hugo spritz or a jungle bird was. Oddly, I’ve had several jungle birds here in the evening, and it’s really one of their best cocktails and a really popular order among the folks I know that regularly this place. First time bar goer and had a wonderful time! Got some beer cider and a gin and tonic during happy hour. The bartender was nice and informative for a inexperinced drinker. The drinks were great especially the oskar blues and the cider! Definitely will be a regular here gor the foreseeable future! P.s. they have a record player feel free to ask em to play some nice tunes!! Alsl the happy hour prices from 4pm-8pm all days rock!!! Def worth a good tip!
I love this hidden gem but was sadly disappointed in my recent visit. Imagine enjoying your cocktails when the bartender comes over mid sip to tell you that you have to leave. I asked him why and I got NO answer. I chose to quickly finish my drink and left. Before I left and paid my tab, I was informed my seat met left and did not pay his. I kindly agreed to pay for that drink. Its ridiculous the bartender let him leave and not pay for his drink. I didn't even get a thank you for doing that. Jus
