Two hairs came out of the shrimp wonton dumpling. The broth for the beef noodle feels different (it's clear and white) vs. The Greenpoint location (where they use the real beef broth). Shanghai pork dumpling is dry and feels overcooked. Overall very terrible and below average vanessas. Don't recommend for sanitary reasons
Wanted honey milk tea, wished I was told they didn't have this, instead I got honeydew milk tea, and I am not pleased at all with it. I don't like honeydew at all. When I said this, I was just told, no honey milk tea, and was handed this. Felt forced to take it vs. them making me something else that I liked. I think I'm also EXTRA upset because I waited 30 minutes for this due to the long lunch line that typically forms. If you are on a time crunch, you may want to go elsewhere. On a positive
Delicious food! It's located in warehouse with parking kitycorner or on street. Vegetarian options include sesame vegetable sandwich, veggie dumplings, and veggie buns. You won't be disappointed with the sesame duck sandwich either if meat is your jam!
