We celebrated my cousin’s milestone birthday over a long, leisurely lunch at Villa Erasmo. We started with oysters Rockefeller and then we both had the chicken Madeira (with asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes in a Madeira wine sauce). For dessert, tiramisu. The bread on the table is also worth mentioning. The food and service were outstanding. I wish I lived closer!
The staff went over and beyond in attending to our party. They took our reservation for 30 people on the same day and helped us out with what to serve. They set us up in their private room, which was more than enough for our needs. The place is classy, not pretentious. The food was really good. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
