It is a fun time with family. The ice is decent. Prices are a little steep for what you get, but the scenery is nice. The facilities are old, but it functions as it is supposed to. On another note: If you have any variation of "Veteran" in your name, and you do not even give a nominal veteran discount, change your name. It is like charging the Rolling Stones admission to attend their own concert.
Very disappointed with this place. Both website and the poster outside of the rink clearly states that it is opened on Fridays from 4pm-10pm. My friends and I showed up excited to skate, but the rink never opened although it says it was currently open on their website. We waited for 3 hours in the cold and nothing happened. No announcement, no staff, nothing.
Bad experience. We played for about 40 minutes in total. There were a lot of ice blocks on the ice surface and we couldn't skate. We asked for a half refund, but they said not allowed to refund.
