I heard great things about this place so was looking forward to trying it out. I am so disappointed! First off there was a sign that said buy 6 get 1 free. I ordered my 7 bagels but he messed up my order and instead of giving me the 7 bagels I ordered he gave me a bialy instead of my free bagel. Upon looking closely the bialy was moldy. This is absolutely disgusting. Will never come here again.
I’ve known this place since I was a kid, but the experience has really gone downhill. When you walk in, no one acknowledges you. Multiple staff members walk back and forth seemingly without purpose, and not a single “hi,” “welcome,” or smile to be found. Some even had looks of irritation on their faces. What stood out most was that this seemed directed specifically at women. I watched several female customers walk in just like me and get completely ignored, while the staff appeared genuinely ann
Tommy tuff knuckles the owner boy oh boy where do I even begin. Tommy .. honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first tried your bagels. The way you bake and prepare your bagels makes me melt . Your silky smooth bagels at the shop is gorgeous. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so l would never have to watch you retire or stop eating your bagels. Best in Brooklyn. I drive in from Staten Island
