A touch of the Adirondacks in Sugar Hill, Harlem. Winnie Said, a part of the extended Harlem Public family, is a delightful departure from the standard sports bar one finds in this area. There is ample space to kick back on a coach and relax in this charming and family friendly spot. The decor is distinctly ‘mountain lodge’ and while there are tv screens through out (creating a chill spot for sports), they do not dominate or overwhelm. Love this place! We came in Saturday at 6 and were able to find a table immediately. The food was amazing! We got the burger of the month (elote smash burger) and it was incredible. I was pleasantly surprised by the cheesy grits with short ribs. SO GOOD. I am going to be coming back just for those to be quite honest. The food, drinks, and overall vibe are all top-tier — it’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to whether it’s for a casual night out or a special occasion.
