Since COVID, many of the food service businesses in the Staten Island Ferry Terminal have closed but ZZ’s Pizza has survived. I dropped in today to get a slice to-go. I went for one of their Sicilian-style slices: spinach & mushroom, with a thin layer of sauce & cheese. Crust was amazing. Light & crispy.
This pizza place is at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal and its in a very busy place especially in the summer when we were there. We stopped here for a pizza slice while waiting for the Ferry and its ok. .The service is good. The pizza is ok.. nothing compared to New York pizzas.
It’s overpriced about $7 for a mediocre slice. I wouldn’t come back again.
