

Set in the Botanical Garden, this polished spot serves American fare & has views of the arboretum.
Located within New York’s Botanical Gardens, the Hudson Garden Grill is a great place to sit, eat, and enjoy the scenery around you. The fare offered ranges from simple to more elegant, and the service is excellent. While reservations are recommended, we walked in and were promptly seated.

Situated right after the entrance, this little but spacious cafeteria has just what you need to refresh or refuel on a day at the garden. They have a pizza oven, hot Cuban sandwiches and lattes. There is seething in the dining room, and in the back tent. You can also stop in to grab a drink on the way to the conservatory. Just don’t bring it inside.

I can see why this zoo is highly rated. I spent nearly the entire day there and saw almost the entirety of it - had the hurry at the end. Animals from nearly all parts of the globe. I recommend the SE entrance where you first see a waterfall and then the historic zoo buildings. You can scan the codes to get a map of the zoo that updates as you move along and can select what animals you want to see.
