I had been craving a Cuban sandwich and a fresh-squeezed orange juice for a while. After finishing my overnight shift, I decided to take a walk and stop by this bakery for breakfast. The place was clean, reasonably priced, and had a small seating area. Instead of heading straight home, I decided to sit and enjoy my breakfast there. The Cuban sandwich and fresh orange juice hit the spot! My only advice is to be patient, as the place can get busy. However, the ladies behind the counter are friend
Been coming for years here for pina and guava slices of cake ..My only issue is that the cake is crammed into an improper container so the top of cake and icing are mashed onto top and upon opening, half the cake is on the top of container and rest is in other half.. This is not a pleasant experience and a bakery that has been around forever should fix this by ordering proper cake slice containers...... Dont know if i will return from midtown again 1.5 hr round trip to get smashed cake...
Today is Aug 20th 2025 and has the Cuban again I truly think it’s too 5 uptown Cubans It’s really good always enjoy coming here. I get bread from here weekly after church truly enjoy it. Cakes are really good empanadas and pastries are also good Cuban sandwich is underrated here this place is solid
