The pizza here is always delicious (Abitino's on 2nd Ave)! I always try to get my slice around lunch time when it's really busy and the pizza is fresh. The workers are so nice and friendly. They always have a smile for all their customers. I love their sausage and pepperoni pizza, grandma pizza and their regular slices. The soda is always cold and refreshing. I was eager for a great pizza. Sadly, it fell short. To be fair, the pizza dough was crispy and had a decent texture, which was a positive. However, the overall quality was disappointing. The pizza and spinach roll had no real flavor. They were bland and unappealing. The ingredients seemed stale. It lacked seasoning. The meal felt incomplete. For the price, I expected much better taste and quality. Sadly, this was not the enjoyable meal I was hoping for.
Came here for a quick slice in between doctors. My dad got the grandma slice and rated it 5/10. He said it was very dry crust and wouldn’t come back. I got a mushroom and pepperoni slice. The mushroom was very bland and not enough sauce. I had to use ALOT of garlic and oregano to season it up. The pepperoni was better but still very sub par.
