I love Ethiopian food so I had to find somewhere to get it when I was in NYC. I went during a quiet lunch hour and really enjoyed myself. The atmosphere and service were great. The food was good, although not as good as other spots I’ve been to in the US. This surprised me a bit, as I thought NYC would give the best. Overall a great experience and I recommend this spot.
My wife, Marty, has been here before and did me the great favor of taking me here today, in my last hours before I turn over another year, birthday eve. OH, MY! What a gem in a still growing neighborhood. Sure there’s a couple local diners, yer usual pizza joints, coffee places, Ethiopian is sooo much fun and the food is delicious, the decor is beautiful and comfortable, the service is great and welcoming. Co’mon! Skip pizza or take out Chinese! Make tonight ETHIOPIAN! You’ll thank me later! T
By far the best restaurant in the neighborhood. The soft, fluffy injera is made daily, the food is packed with flavor (especially the tomato salad and sambusas with red pepper sauce), and the waitstaff is lovely and warm. Truly a fantastic experience all around.
