The food is fine, but the owner's attitude is absolutely terrible. He is incredibly disrespectful, aggressive, and uses intimidation tactics against people. A completely toxic and hostile environment. It is not worth supporting a business run by someone like this. Also, the way he responds to people’s reviews is incredibly shocking, no I’m not just talking about this review reply but all of the rest.
I live in the area and kept passing by this restaurant. So I decided to take my sister here for her birthday! The food we had was really good. Would highly recommend this place.
An absolute treasure. We moved out of nyc a decade ago and this was the first place we wanted to have dinner at on a trip back. What a wave of nostalgia. They haven’t missed a beat. Would 100% recommend. This place is an absolute hidden gem. It’s byob so feel free to bring your own wine!
