I frequent here around 8-10pm and love their sushi. Never hard rice and reasonably priced. I usually order 2 classic rolls and a side of spicy mayo. My order comes out to about 20 dollars. A side sauce is about the size for 2 sushi rolls if u are a heavy sauce dipper. Their dine out orders are quick allowing you to order online or on the phone for later orders. Dine in is very peaceful and quiet during the pm hours. Staff are respectful and attentive. Will keep coming back !
I stopped by Akami for some sushi while I was on break for lunch nearby. I agree with the prior guests, that the lunch special is a great deal. I got 3 sushi rolls, soup & salad for roughly $16, and it all tasted and looked great. I usually take photos but not this time because I was starving lol. Definitely come here for good sushi lunch deals.
How disappointing was my take out tonight ($109): only cucumber roll tasted fine (too bad it was packed together with fishy rolls and was purchased for someone who doesn’t eat fish!) $5.95 deserves its own container. The worst calamari I ever had: absolutely returnable, don’t get full by their name: “Amazing calamari”. Out of 3 special sushi rolls: 2 were falling apart and barely had any taste unless you count the soy sauce. Wasabi is in extraordinary green( food coloring overboard). Ginger w
