We had a very positive experience traveling through Terminal 8 at JFK! We found Alaska Airlines flight crew to be delightful and the seats in Section B to be comfortable! You can order food in advance of your flight but I’d recommend buying food in the terminal.
If you are booking their premium class because of the advertised "unlimited drinks," save your money. It is 100% false advertising. I bought this ticket expecting a premium experience where I could sit back, relax, and let the ideas flow. For the first part of the flight, it was great—the wine was flowing, and I was actually having a highly productive, inspired trip. Then, the service hit a brick wall. Had us waiting on the floor for 5 hours after a 10 hour flight to JFK. Their ticket kiosks and check in don’t open untill 4:30am , and no one was there at that time either , they lag . My husband had To sleep on the floor from 11am-4:30am waiting . So i don’t recommend flying in at night . It’s miserable and cold . They have no lounges or seating area too accommodate their guests while they wait for their flight . You cannot go and walk around the other side of the airport terminal 8 either with
