Laid-back restaurant, specializing in Tuscan-style sandwiches on schiacciata bread.
From Google Maps reviews.
Great place to fulfill your Italian sandwich cravings! The bread that they use is particularly good—and so fresh! It’s a tad more than what I usually pay for a sandwich, but the quality of the ingredients is excellent here. I recommend La Summer sandwich (Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil). The restaurant is great for small to medium sized group of people. Plenty of indoor seating in the back of the restaurant. If you’re in the mood for a good quality sandwich, this is a great option!
Give a lot less meat and cream / sauce compared to the Italy locations but still very solid choice all across. Would recommend ‘La Paradiso” - the mortadella + pistachio cream + stracciatella combo is just really good.
A great spot very close to 5th Avenue, Central Park, making it an easy stop while exploring the area. The sandwiches are generous, fresh, and full of flavor, with lots of options to choose from. Perfect for a quick bite or a filling meal. The dining space inside is spacious and clean, with restrooms available, which is a big plus. You can also dine in or grab your sandwich to go and enjoy it in Central Park as well.
