We’ve been here before, but recently they started offering breakfast, so we came to try it. Aunt Liu was very friendly and even offered us peanuts and soy milk while we waited. We ordered pan-fried buns, potstickers, a chive pocket, and wonton soup. The chive pocket was cold inside at first, but Aunt Liu reheated it and gave us a new one as well. Such an incredible, intimate spot for amazing Sichuan food. It is very unassuming and tucked at the back of a bar. Auntie Liu is so sweet and welcoming, and even gave my family a free small appetizer along with dessert. My parents are from Sichuan and they rated this one of the best Sichuan restaurants they've tried. Everything was so fresh and perfectly numbing. We got 6 dishes and each one was incredible, we even ordered more to take home. It seemed like there were a lot of returning customer
My family had reserved the restaurant for lunch for a private event. It was nice that we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Also, we got special attention from the owner/chef. The owner cooked the food and brought the dishes directly to our table from the kitchen. The chef arranged the entire lunch menu. We got to taste some of the popular and famous dishes. Many of the food were my personal favorite. Start with some fried chicken nuggets and braised pork bellies. Then there was the squid.
