I’ve been to LJ’s multiple times — both at Alphaville and now at Danger Danger — and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that they serve some of the best bar food I’ve ever had. I’d even go as far as to say the food is better than what you’ll find at some restaurants. My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken nuggets. The steak is delicious too, so you really can’t go wrong, but the nuggets are fresh, juicy, and somehow satisfying without leaving you too full to cut a rug afterward. Highl
Had a great meal at Lory Jayne. The steak frites was cooked perfectly tender, flavorful, with crisp, generous fries. The burger was equally good, juicy and well seasoned. What really made it for us was the atmosphere, warm and comfortable, the kind of place you want to linger in. Friendly service too. Would happily come back and recommend it to anyone.
This is apparently a hip spot. How do I know? Because literally 5 minutes after we arrived there was standing room only and bribery to get your table next. Not real bribes, but definitely people hoping you'll make eye contact as you take your last bite so they can merge onto the onramp of the chair you're still sitting on. Several people didn’t care that the 2 servers hadn't gotten around to clean off the tabletops yet... they just carefully stacked the mess to the sign and took down the For Sal
