After a long trip around the UK, the first thing I was craving was a classic NYC slice, and Amore Pizzeria delivered exactly that. There's a reason they've been around for over 50 years! I’ve tried different pizza spots throughout NY and CT and this is the best pizza by far. The moment you take a bite you taste the perfection of the cheese, the sauce, and the dough — it has the right amount of ingredients! Hard to get satisfied with one slice, I have to get at least two.
$9 for a pepperoni slice and a Sicilian. Other reviews mention something similar- the quality of this place is generally inconsistent and the portion size has gone down over time. Got a slice and it was soggy enough to collapse before folding. The Sicilian tasted bland and could have been mistaken for something store bought frozen. I’d skip this this spot.
