I ordered the two roll lunch special, choosing spicy tuna and spicy salmon, which came with a side salad. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. The rice was well-seasoned and held together nicely. The side salad was simple but had my all time favorite carrot ginger. The portions were just right for lunch -not too heavy, but filling enough. I came at an off hour so the place was super quiet. The staff was attentive even though they were prepping for dinner at the same time.
The restaurant is impeccably clean and nice, paired with friendly, professional service. Every dish is beautifully presented, fresh, and bursting with flavor, making the experience absolutely delicious.
The salmon teriyaki bento lunch special ($14.50 plus tax) and the tempura sampler ($11) were decent. In a neighborhood with many Japanese dining options, Amura is worth considering but is not a must-try.
