Antica Trattoria (Fresh Pond Rd) This is a great old-fashioned Italian spot that feels like a real neighborhood trattoria, not a trendy “Instagram” place. The vibe is classic and cozy, with that old-school, dim-lit dining room energy where you can actually relax and enjoy the meal. Food is consistently delicious and tastes homemade. This is about my 5th visit to this establishment, and this is my first review. I, and my party, have loved the food every time without ever having a complaint on. Portions, taste and selection are all A+ here. My only issue with this amazing restaurant is the fact that it gets so loud that you have to do a little screaming of your own to get a conversation to work. If only they would put a limit on noise so that it could be a little more enjoyable, that would be great. But, outside of that
