As much as I would love to leave a good review due to its historical reverence, I still have to give my account on the experience I had. Currently the Apollo is under construction so they are having shows at the Victoria Stages (down the street) not too far from the Apollo Theater. 🎭 The place is clean and the staff was friendly in the theater. The concession stand service was quick and pleasant even though after the contactless payment I had to rip off my own receipt from out the machine b/c
I went to check out the gift shop as well as the one free exhibit. Funny enough, I learned a lot from the staff at the gift shop who had plenty to say. I was really fascinated by the rich history of this place and Was shocked when I heard how long it’s been here. The staff also told us how anyone can perform. Overall, I had a really nice experience and definitely am coming back. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes history.
My 2nd time in nyc after 25 years had 2 stop and see the legendary theater I always watched as a kid
