All of the cocktails have some sort of spice, earthy notes like garam masala, nutmeg, smoky, duck fat, smoked rosemary; etc. Again, this is a 4-star for myself but I can see this being 5-star for people with the acquired taste above. I think they are unique complex cocktails. I ordered “Napoleons Right Hand” which felt heavy handed on the bitters; my mouth puckered up quite a bit. My second was Melon King Fizz, which I informed the staff I didn’t like gin but she still said to try it still. E
I’ve seen promotions for here on instagram and had it saved for a while before my first visit. That first visit exceed all expectations, I went in on a Friday, it was pretty packed up still enough space to find somewhere to stand and plot where to find an available seat lol. The drinks were amazing too a lot of first tries but I was not disappointed at all! Definitely would be taking a trip back at some point
I can’t say enough good things about this speakeasy, but they had it ALL! We got there early and got sat instantly. The waitstaff were top tier. The vibes were ACTUALLY IMMACULATE. Romantic, mysterious. Even the bathroom was cool and curated. Most important - I’ve gotta shout out the bartenders. You’re magicians. We tried 7 different drinks off their cocktail menu, and passed them around for tasting. I kid you not - literally every drink was perfectly balanced and the best version of that cockt
