Fantastic cocktail and food. The bartender with the white shirt was excellent and chill, but the one with the black shirt was rude - we asked him if there was anything vegetarian and he replied just check the menu; and he poured the water rudely that the water splashed all over the table and without any apologies. Very shocking to receive this kind of service and experience at a supposedly high class bar. Maybe we were the only Asians there?
In the bar desert that is the west side of Lenox Hill, finding this little treat is a delight. Tucked in the ground floor of a highrise, the bar designers did a great job transporting you to an underground Parisian bar, perhaps inspired by the catacombs. Great vibes for dates and clients if you're stuck in the area (expense accounts encouraged). That said, the bartending skill and service is a mismatch for the environs. Slow night during our visit. Cute slim jazzy bar on Park. Very enthusiastic bartender. Not much to eat. Came for the mac and cheese but it was removed from the menu, so definitely only attend if you aren't that hungry. Whats left is a few choices of finger food. It was a wednesday night so returning Friday or Saturday for the live band.
