Solid entry in the immersive art space. The highlight here is the actual content. The Render Network presents Submerge: Beyond The Render, a showcase of immersive digital worldscapes realized in super high resolution projection on the walls of the old boiler room under Chelsea Market. The iMax sized ‘screen’ was super hi-def wrap around on three walls and so finely detailed that you had to touch it to reassure yourself that the walls were still flat. Very enjoyable and some of the projections are very good. Relaxing atmosphere and some beautiful images. Only two observations: 1- it needs to be explained better at the beginning. You sit on middle of room to enjoy the Submerge projections. Only handful of interactive screens near bar. When I got in, got confused. 2- the bar drinks are not free. VIP ticket only gives discount. Want to do something different and unplug the mind, it’s a good choice. 👍😊
Honestly I don't think it's worth the price it is a beautiful setup but it's very misleading how they posted on social media it's really just one room of mostly just floral it's hard to take pictures because they're moving so quickly but videos can be taken you don't need more than 30 minutes. It's the same video that keeps repeating there's nothing different every 5 minutes the same thing repeats I expected more from what I saw on social media but nevertheless the 5 minutes of the same repeated
