Probably my favorite restaurant in all of NYC! The flavors are amazing and remind me of homemade Indonesian food. Indonesian cuisine is so hard to find here and I’m so happy this location is close by. I usually get the Soto Ayam and the Nasi Goreng with sausage. Also, their satay is great and love love their Thai iced coffee!!
Great store, hands down! All the options I tried were great (calamari, fried noodles, sparkling lychee juice, Nasi Pecel, etc) and tasty. The chicken on the Java Fried Rice is somewhat dry, which is my only complaint, but the rest of the dish was great. Outstanding service, and the lady serving us was super friendly!
This is an authentic Indonesian food I had so far. The Java fried rice with Tamarind soup was great! The ambience of this store is just okay. The door doesn’t close all the way and left me to freeze while eating.
