I’ve been to all the Avra locations in NYC and they are all wonderful. This was our first time at the Avra Hudson Yards. Wow. The space is incredibly spacious with plenty of tables and no one is on top of each other. Beautiful decor, service is great. Everyone tending to your table, constantly. Our server Gabriel was phenomenal, on point, knowledgeable and pleasure to speak to. The food was (as always) tasty and simply great. I can’t recommend having a meal at any of the Avra locations. We visited Avra near Hudson Yards for an early Valentine’s Day lunch, and it was absolutely wonderful. The space is gorgeous, bright, and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed but special afternoon. We started with the salad and the grilled calamari, both incredibly fresh and full of flavor. For our main dish, we shared the fish (catch of the day)with lemon potatoes, which was cooked perfectly.
