Feels like a jackpot finding this place! The place and the food itself may look humble, but the food burst with flavor. Priced by the pound, really good price. It’s my first time trying African food, with a buffet style you can try many things at once. I tried the jollof rice with beef, some other beef in a red sauce, potato leaves soup, meatball in red sauce. All dishes were tasty! Truly a great alternative for those looking for tasty meal in the area. Def will come back.
I like the fact that this is an African food buffet restaurant and it attracts lots of the brotherhood from the motherland. Food was also really good. However, I think the bathroom should be taken care of more often. I’ve never seen a bathroom that gross in a restaurant. Please schedule routine maintenance for the bathroom. Thank you
8/10. Don’t let the minimalist style fool you. For what it’s worth, it’s amazing. It’s African food, serve yourself, pay by the pound, and no frills or airs whatsoever. It cost me less than $20 for both my meals; it was so good I had to have 2 plates. The lamb was melt in your mouth, but you need to discern which kinds are tastier and more tender, you’ll get an eye for it either through trial and error or by asking a seasoned vet.
