The baguette was amazing, but besides that the food tasted pretty bland…. I wanted to like this place more but to be frank… it’s just like other generic Asian tea spots…. Nothing on this menu really sticks out to me, yes there is Vietnamese sandwiches and dishes but it lacks any love aka proper seasoning, even the fish sauce to eat with the noodle dishes are bland. Prices were ok I guess. $2.50 for a can of Soda….
A new addition to the neighborhood, this restaurant is very clean, well-organized, and offers some comfortable seating. Unlike many Vietnamese restaurants that use minced meat, they use chunks of meat, which are more flavorful. However, I wish the bread were crunchier. Since they’ve only recently opened, they’re still working out the kinks in their operations—it took longer than expected to pick up my order.
I’ve never tried Vietnamese food before, so I decided to give it a shot here. Honestly, I would’ve given this place a full 5 out of 5 stars if I actually liked Vietnamese food — but I’ve come to realize it’s just not for me personally.
