Came here for the first time. I tried the traditional Shanghai pan fried pork soup dumplings, steamed crab roe and pork soup dumplings, and yellow croaker noodle soup. The pan fried soup dumplings seemed to be house made. It was also cooked nicely with a golden crust on the bottom. It also had a good amount of soup inside. Gosh, I genuinely enjoyed my time here so much! The food was delicious- we ordered the mushroom medley noodle soup, the general tso tofu, and the scallion pancake. The mushroom was sooo juicy and the broth was flavorful and light! The tofu had a crispy skin while still being soft and juicy on the inside, I was really impressed with the attention these dishes had considering not all vegetable dishes get the love they deserve! New review: I’m glad we gave it another try. This time we ordered some ‘safe’ meals and they were all yum! We ordered some pork soup dumplings, string beans, sesame chicken, and fried rice with pork and shrimp. Everything was so fresh and tasty and warm. The fried rice was so comforting for such a cold day. The string beans were so moist and crunchy. The dumplings were big and soupy.
