Our experience at Bar Rocco was underwhelming at best. When we arrived we asked to be seated at the bar and were told we could not be because there was no bartender. The atmosphere is nice with large floor to ceiling windows and our seat was by the window. The wait time to order a cocktail ( which they were able to serve without a bartender) was very long even though there were only 2 or 3 other tables that had guests. May 2026: Stopped by for dinner on a Monday night. Was very fortunate to have a wonderful server. Started with the Oyster ala Rockefeller, the yellowtail carpacio and the white bean hummus. The yellowtail carpacio was good but was a bit overly salted. Oysters were nice. Had a green (basil?) vinaigrette topped with a little fried pork. Probably the best of the starters. I can’t say enough good things about Bar Rocco. From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely superb - Ivan was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without ever feeling overbearing. The entire team made us feel so welcome. Being on the second floor, the ambiance struck a perfect balance. Elevated yet comfortable, with a vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. What really stood out was the food. As a table of four, we all ordered completely different entrées
