Fantastic new addition to the neighborhood! I stopped by for lunch and grabbed a sandwich, and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and had a great mix of ingredients and textures. What really stood out was the service, which was outstanding by New York standards. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
4.5 🌟 Lovely space; the split level gives the illusion that the place is larger than it seems. Order at the counter and find a seat at the bar or at a table. The pistachio torta was a delicious flourless pastry, the eggs and dates with zhug was a nice combination of flavors (you get savory, sweet, and some spice). Their seeded bread is also declious and made in house. Been back to have the sweet potato sandwich and wow, so flavorful!
Amazing food, wonderful staff, and beautiful space. Everything we ate was delicious. For mains we got the roast beef, ham and cheese, and sweet potato sandwiches and both soups. Love that they offer great vegetarian options. The spicy broccoli salad?? Don’t get me started. They make their own bread, sauces, drinks in house. The ginger ale was outta control so good. And DO NOT SKIP THE MAPLE TART!! The kind of dessert that haunts your dreams until you meet again…chef’s kiss.
