The food at BarrelHouse goes crazy. I saw this spot pop up here on Google Maps, and hadn’t ever seen it before. It looked like a spot I had to try, and I’m so glad I did. The guy who greeted us at the door (the owner maybe?) was super welcoming and friendly. The staff were all really nice, even if service was a bit slow. To be fair, they were pretty busy. Really enjoyed our visit here. The atmosphere is great, with good music and a very comfortable vibe. The service stood out — the owners and staff came over to greet us and were very attentive the whole time. The food was well prepared. The chicharrón was crispy and flavorful, and everything paired nicely with the potatoes, patacón, guacamole, and sauces. A nice extra touch was the fruit herbal tea they offered us.
