Bed Stuy Fish Fry was so good! Easily some of the best soul food I’ve ever had. Everything was full of flavour, cooked perfectly, and tasted fresh. You can really tell they put care into every dish. The servers were lovely, friendly, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Great food, great service, and a fantastic overall experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for amazing soul food in NYC!
Very disappointing experience. I came to pick up an Uber delivery order and asked to use the restroom, but the staff refused and said it was only for employees. In NYC, delivery workers have the right to use a restaurant’s bathroom when picking up orders, so this clearly violates the rules for delivery services. A formal complaint has already been submitted regarding this issue. Unprofessional and disrespectful treatment.
⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) I ordered a meatloaf dinner from Bed Stuy Fish Fry on Nostrand ave, through Uber Eats and it was a complete disaster. The meatloaf arrived undercooked, still pink/raw in the middle, extremely soft and mushy, almost baby-food texture, and full of filler. I initially thought it was breadcrumbs, but when I went in person the following day to speak directly with the owner, they admitted they use crackers.
