Got this as a recommendation from a friendly bartender at Black Iron Burger near Central Park. We hit a lot of the famous Manhattan pizza spots, which were great, but this one was really good. It’s a neighborhood spot with no line whatsoever when we were there (Saturday night around 7pm). I would definitely recommend the Margherita and Grandma slices!
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine. They offer various coupon deals for meal discounts. I ordered a full size plain cheese pizza for pickup. The cost was $18. The side order of three meatballs were very good. The eggplant parmigiana platter was a good portion and included a choice of pasta or vegetable. They have several tables for dining in. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bella Roma is the classic neighborhood pizza spot. the people there are also nice and they get to know you once you start going there. they have a good NY slice and you can get a can of soda for $6.99, $7.68 after tax and fee using card. i think theres a few pizza places in the neighborhood that have the same quality but they offer the same deal foe a buck cheaper! the slice itself is a nice, large slice but its not as thin as the thin ny crust. the sauce and cheese are really good and i can f
