Went to the see the Outsiders. It was great. The stage was awesome. As far as the theater, isles and seat were a little tight. It has beautiful architecture, arches, and decor. The only negative I can say is that the restrooms are limited to the basement. Other than that, we really enjoyed the venue and show.
I never know what to expect from these old theaters, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Jacobs theater. We saw the Outsiders and it was a very enjoyable experience. We sat in the orchestra facing the left of the stage. The seats were comfortable with plenty of legroom. From our vantage point, there was no obstruction and we could see the entire stage. The acoustics were outstanding. I had no issue hearing any of the dialogue or lyrics. Overall, a great venue to see a Broadway show.
We saw the Outsiders and the show was phenomenal. The theater was clean and really beautiful. Most of the staff was wonderful aside from 2. One usher snapped at me when I asked about getting playbills because I was supposed to get them from someone else. My teenage daughter was getting a pepsi from the bar and her card declined (I'm not sure why. She had the money in there) and the bartender said "you can use a different card or give me that cash i see in your purse. " which made her uncomfo
