If I could give zero stars I would. Awful. Don't stay here. We arrived earlier than our scheduled check in and they wanted to charge $55 +tax to check in early/ per room. Also the fee to use the in-room safe was ridiculous. We had 3 rooms reserved. So we waited until check in time. When we actually checked in at the check in time I had a receipt in my email that stated that I had already paid and owed $0 at check in. Sadly this hotel could be a gem. It has a nice location in a good neighborhood, yet the maintenance is sorely neglected. The carpet was dirty in our room, a dark track mark! My son complained that the shower floor was slippery (agreed). The common areas were disgusting with lots of dust, small garbage, leftover food, dirty surfaces, tables in eating area and in a sitting area. Do not walk down the stairs!!! This was an extremely stressful experience. After check-in, a female staff member wrote my room number in nearly illegible handwriting. The room turned out to be under construction, and a construction worker who came out from inside kindly guided me to the correct room. The Wi-Fi password was equally unreadable, causing repeated failed attempts. After a nap, I woke up to find my wallet missing. I reported it to the front desk and requested a security camera review.
