What a great, hidden gem in SoHo. First, the whole staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and quick to resolve any issues. Jotej was at the front desk each morning and greeted us with a warm smile and friendly welcome. Also, Lara (so kind and friendly also) keeps the breakfast area downstairs in fantastic/clean order and the coffee was brewed hot and delicious each morning. Imagine this: you’re on tour, you’ve spent hours on the road, you arrive at your hotel exhausted, and all you want is a few hours to rest, shower, get your hair and makeup done, and prepare for your show. I checked into this hotel only to discover that the air conditioning in my room was not working. I immediately reported it and was told it would be fixed. Hotel is in a great location, lots of good restaurants and cool bars immediately around. Our room (602) was too small to even put our luggage, did not allow to open a window even slightly and the heating/AC was controlled centrally, either heat only and too warm or cool only and too cold. Breakfast was American, no porcelain but actually nice selection of bread and food.
