A pretty friendly neighborhood spot. Cozy is the right description for this place and it has a fireplace right by the back of this place. You also have outdoor seating for nicer weather. It’s pretty a good place to have some drinks paired with some nice cheeses. Services might definitely get slow though when the place is busy. Absolutely loved this little neighborhood wine bar- can't believe it's taken me so long to visit! Cozy and informal, they have outside seating, inside tables and bar seating. The open fire is a nice touch, and the extensive but reasonable wine menu also has a beer and spritz section. Nice to see some more unusual (to new York!) wines from Sicily and Slovenia. The food menu is compact, more on the elevated bar bite spectrum. A must visit!
This place is a gem and we’ll absolutely be back! Husband ordered a great summer spritz, I started off with a rosé that might be one of the best I’ve ever had. For food we had the crostini with baked Brie and pear (so good!). I had the panini with mortadella, ajvar aioli, and a funky Swiss (delish, too big for me to finish, breakfast leftovers were amazing). To finish off we had the chocolate bread pudding.
